while studying art in college, i always wanted to take a photography course but finances kept me away. when i moved to the mountains, traveling around and experiencing life, i finally got the chance to explore photography in detail. in a round-a-bout way, i came back to painting through the inspiration the photos brought to me. on my birthday last year, ken surprised me with a new nikon digital camera. it's amazing what it can produce if only i had the patience to sit long enough to read the manual. you see, i like to do things the hard way in learning by experience . . .
